Where did you stay in San Diego?

Hi, I am just wondering if someone could tell me where they stayed in San Diego and price....

First off...ROLL TIDE  :)  I went to Dr. Kelly on May 27 and went str8 to the hospital cause the only flight i was able to get arrived at midnight.  I was told to stay at the Hampton Inn and was given a special rate from Dr. Kelly's Office of $89.00 plus tax a night.  Once you get get to Tijuana and stay in the hotel there you want to stay in Hotel Lucern..it is so worth the upgrade!  Very nice hotel!  Best of luck to ya!  If you have any more wuestion just pm me  :)

So ,, how did you get to Tijuana,, and once there how did you get to the hospital... Do they have taxies that will take you into Tijuan at that time of night.... ?? Please let me know,, I am traveling alone, and I am arriving into San Diegon around 1130pm so I would love to be able to get this information,, thanks....

I stayed at the Hampton Inn as well it was dirty and the beds were like rocks and I believe my special price was $99.00 because I had a guest with me.  In Tijuana I stayed at the Ticuan I believe it was called it was cheaper than the Hampton and WAAAAAYYYYYY nicer! So you if have the opportunity cross the border and stay there!! :)  My surgeon was Dr. Almanza and he was great!!

I stayed at the Hampton on Pacific Highway.  It was not a great hotel.  I was quoted a deal from my coordinator of 88.00; however, it was 119 a night because I had someone with me. 

I paid the difference and upgraded to Lucerna and it was a great hotel in Mexico!

Thanks everyone for replying.. I couldn't get a room at the Hampton so I am paying 190.00 for a room and I will be alone.. But from what people say maybe I will be better off... I do plan to upgrade also in Mexico...

I guess I am a little nervous about where I am staying since I will be alone...

We stayed in the Hilton at Harbour Island in San Diego... very nice place for a not too bad price. We also stayed in the Hotel Ticuan in TJ. Price was awesome and room was nice and huge!

I had my gastric band surgery with Dr. Ortiz.  My husband and I stayed at the Marriott in Tijuana.  It was included as part of the surgery package at the time (Feb. 2010).  The Marriott was beautiful and had a wonderful restaurant.
