Acceptable foods chart

Soooo, it had been what feels like eons since I have participated on these boards and I am happy to say I am starting to get back into the swing.  Without a long drawn out story of why I ended up gaining and now needing to start over I am going to get right to the point...

Can anyone point me to a chart of acceptable foods to eat post op?  I don't mean freshly post op either, more like fully healed and needing to get back on track post op.  I am looking for a good guide, printable chart perhaps, of the allowable or smart choices for the different food categories we are supposed to be eating from.

I saw on the Cornell University a chart but it was geared towards those fresh out of surgery.  I am not looking for what pureed fruits are good LOL.

Thanks in advance!

I just stick to protein, avoid processed/refined carbs, and don't worry about fat.  I have "basics" instead of acceptable foods.  Here are my basics, yours might be a little different:

1. Prioritize protein and water
2. Deprioritize carbs, especially the refined and processed ones
3. Make the most of healthy fats
4. Eat three meals a day with no snacks
5. Avoid liquid calories (breakfast protein shake is the exception)
6. Weigh portions
7. Eat mindfully and with no distractions aside from real live people
8. Move as much as possible
9. Weigh myself daily
10. Be kind to myself

I am looking for the same thing. 1200 calories is to maintain, but I am hungry most of the time. I'm taking protein in the form of zero cal powder and plain ff greek yogurt with chia seeds and blueberries. 2 x day so that I consume 30 gr of protein at a time. We don't usually absorb more than that at one time. For fiber I like bran oatmeal. But that is a carb too. I drink ff almond milk, coconut milk, water. Baked with coconut flour and almond flour, splenda.

Anyway that's the beginning. Exercise is next but I have hidden disabilities which make it hard to make it worth while. Hope we both get some answers!

Other than that I have found myself on the carb o go round!

I like a simple graphic representation that you can see here. I have printed it out and put it on my fridge for reference. Do keep in mind that the amounts of protein vary from surgery to surgery, so I'd still check with your dietitian. Other than that it's hassle free and can be used one month after WLS.

Had surgery at Nordbariatric, with surgeon A. Maleckas.
