I have tried a couple brands the first ones i got were cliff builders they have 20 grams of protein and i really liked them. At least i think they are ok to eat not first choice of course. it was suggested to me however that i should watch carbs more so i tried a brand called pure protein with 20 grams of protein and less carbs and i can't even finish one bar i hate them! I was wondering if anyone had some brands that they like that I can try? Figured better to ask then just randomly buy stuff i won't eat.

thanks!

The most common one around here is probably Quest bars.  Best protein to calorie ratio and pretty low on carbs (at least the sugary carbs).  Pretty good tasting.  I recently gave them up as they seem to trigger the nom beast that resides deep in my heart and comes out to eat all in its path.

if I start eating protein bars - i start gaining weight....so I give up.

I still make  have 1-02 when traveling or in a pinch...

try quest bars, or  Power crunch....

most good tasting protein bars like glorified candy bars... maybe they are bit better .. but not much...IMO

It's really hard to find a GOOD protein bar that is actually low carb.

Quest claims that its bars are FULL of fiber. They're full of a product called vita fiber which essentially is corn syrup... a true probiotic fiber should be 0 calories per gram. Vitafiber is 2 calories per gram and therefore not a true fiber... it's really a carb!

I also found that when I ate them--I gained!

I really like the On Yeah On Bars  They have 21G of Protein and only 1 sugar.  They are very tasty  They do have sugar alcohol but it has not affected me.
