Looking for information about Curves??
Hi Monique,
I don't do Curves now, but I have been a member in the past. Then I started to have reduced available time when they were open, so I stopped going (kids came into the picture). So I don't know the current cost.
I know that the basic idea is that you do a circuit of machine, then walking in place, then on to the next machine. It was all to music that was lively and fun. It would cue you to go to the next station. The staff will teach you how to use the machines, and correct you if needed. I think some have Zumba now, but not sure. The main circuit isn't lead by anyone, and you can use the machines at your own level as they are resistance based, so it's good for beginner to expert. I did have fun when I was going.
Good luck.
Cathy

While my experience is all second hand (my pink work out outfit just makes them nauseated, LOL) I have a good friend who goes every second day with her sister and they love it. They don't like muscle bound guys hogging machines and they get a deal through Groupon every now and then so load up and they swear by their frugalness (is that a word?).
I went for awhile and really enjoyed it. I haven't had WLS surgery yet so was at my high weight 277. I liked the machines and the people were fantastic very encouraging. I'd still be going but for financial reasons, no work and I'll health. I was paying about 65.00 a month in my town. I think cost and hrs vary by location.
