Victories and some other info

I had a scale victory this morning in that I am now officially 50 pounds lighter than I was-whoot whoot

Some NSV -- I can now share my chair with my grandchildren sitting on the seat next to me and not on the armrest!

I'm walking so much better with no knee or back pain.

Am into size 18 jeans-down from size 24.

I saw the dietician last week and she stated that I wasn't getting enough fiber in my diet- I was averaging 10-12 gm but we need 20-25g per day.  I changed that one small item and  (if your squeamish don't read further!!) the BM's are now daily and not every 3-4 days- soft and not hard. I don't recall any mention of watching fiber in the class but this small change in my diet has made a world of difference.

So I am now just 7 pounds from wONEderland--which I hope to achieve by Christmas!!

Just lovin' my RNY!!!!

to my yogurt I added 3 tbsp bran buds, 1 tbsp hemp hearts, 1 tbsp roasted milled  flaxseed, I dropped from 4 oz meat to 3 oz and added more veggies, and I add Benifibre to my tea and water etc- done deal and it works!!  My dietician said to keep carbs around 100 per day so I try to do that but it to varies btwn 70-112 I don't really worry too much about that--just my protein and I'm keeping an eye on the fibre-Johanna

That's awesome. It is worth it just for the pain reduction

Way to go Johanna!  I completely agree that fibre is definitely your friend. I eat bran buds in my breakfast pretty much everyday as well.
