I'm waiting for more than a year and a half, I complete all blood tests, ultrasound, sleep studies, and the cardiologist. The doctor told me I am ready for operation, but I'm going to the nutritionist, I'm trying to quit soda and desserts, and I'm following a journal. I gained weight, I am losing weight for over a year, but my weight in the last two months go up. The doctor says that if I keep going in this way, he do not operate me, I am  very concerned about that.
I need advice on what to do to lose weight fast and to pass the stage of the nutritionist.
Some that have been the same.
Help me!!! I can not wait anymore, I wish I could have surgery in about 3 months.

which doctor is saying "he do not operate"?  why loose weight for a year, yet now gaining?  What changed?

What nutirtionist at which bariatric center?  I could be wrong but our folks are called dieticians because of all the extra education and training, especially about bariatric issues.  When you use the work nutritionist it makes me think you're working toward a band surgery or something else outside of the bariatric centers in Ontario.  Is this the case?

If you apply for the program under OHIP rules you are of a size that should know exactly what to do to loose weight quickly!  Its a terrible idea in my opinion but you know how to loose weight.  Just my opinion.

Yes....what Ian Said!   I don't really understand the problem.  If I read it right you have to quit drinking soda.... so that is easy.... stop drinking it.... If you need to loose a little...follow what the guidelines the nut.t is giving you... ....

Yup...quit the soda and the desserts...you need to do it now because if you don't it will first of all show your centre that you can't follow the guidelines..after surgery you most likely will pay for it with dumping and could have other problems...Soda/pop was my biggest downfall...it was my drug of choice for years...I made a promise to myself that once they said no more I would follow that...then I got the call for my nurse appointment for January 2012 and decided I needed to quit before that date. My last carbonated drink that I opened and put into my body was December 25th 2011. Sure it was hard, VERY HARD. Withdrawls and headaches for a few days but within a week I was fine. Now just about a year later and 6 1/2 months post op I know I made the right decision for me.

Really take a look at what you are putting into your body in a day and you'll figure out where the added weight is coming from. A huge word of ADVICE stop BUYING and EATING junk!! Try your best and you'll succeed!!
