I saw Dr. Penner, had to wait awhile, but he checked me over and he was sure the pain and buldge were both normal post surgery. He wants me to keep an eye on it and get more rest get it gave me the all clear. Home and almost in bed for a long sleep.

Thanks everyone for your kind words of encouragement and support.

Surgery date:  January 16 2013 -  Beware, I LIVED.

Well I hope that he is right and that you get some sleep. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the pain dissipates and that you are on the road to recovery soon!

lol...step away from the fitbit ;) You'll be up and walking in no time. Only do what your body will allow you to...at this stage for me it was slow and short walks, and I mean like 3 to 5 minutes at a time.

Take good care!
