Im doing great so far, thanks! I think I'm eating more than I should be lol I've been able to pretty much stomach anything I've been given so far, just want to try to see if anyone else knows of any alternatives since I have to be on full fluids for two weeks. I get sick of the same old stuff pretty quickly Other than that, getting in all my meds and vits!

How opti going for you?? Almost done, you must be getting soo excited!

I feel the same way as you, but I have a feeling there isn't really much else we can have. I was not a fan of any of this stuff before, especially dairy, and I am finding it difficult to stomach. So much so they I can't even face food today and instead am working on protein shakes and water. Probably not the best thing to so but if I try to eat I fear I might gag.

Referral Aug/11, transferred to HRRH May/12, Orientation July 4/12, Surgeon July 17/12,     RD, SW  Aug 3/12, RN Aug 22/12, Dr. Glazer/Sleep Study Sept/12, Surgeon Nov 2/12, 1st surgery date (cancelled due to to sickness) Dec 13/12, Re-scheduled for Feb 6/13

I'm in the same boat!  I went in with a dairy allergy and have to admit that it has been much better than before surgery but I still can't get a taste for cream soups, yogurt, pudding, cottage cheese, etc.  I have also found that my tastes have changed ALOT!  I find protein shakes to be too sweet, pudding is too sweet and heavy, cottage cheese now makes me gag, and other things are too salty.  I just feel thirsty all of the time and can't ge****er in fast enough.  I'm pretty much to the point where food has absolutely no enjoyment and I am literally eating to live.  Unfortunately there are times where I can't get anything bu****er in without gagging.  I wish I had some suggestions for you but I've got nothing.;  Our list is pretty limited.  All I can say is thank goodness puree is coming up this week!

Good Luck!

Oh man..I guess I'm lucky that I can pretty much tolerate anything....but yogurt makes me a little gaggy and anything that gets mixed with a crushed pill I have SUCH a hard time swallowing...it's horrible Esp since I have to crush my pain meds....I just have to plug my nose and get it down..blahhh!
