Surgeon Meeting
So I just got my date to meet the Surgeon, Very excited. I never made it this far in my last attempt in this program......Can anyone tell me what to expect in the surgeons meeting. I was told to bring my credit card. MARCH 15 @ 11am TWH
March 5- referral confirmed Sept 12- Orientation at TWH Oct 16- Nurse App
Nov 2- Social app Nov 26/27 Nutrition Class/ Psycho Feb 1 Dietitian March 15- surgeon
April 29 2013- Surgery

Just wondering, I can't see your signature as the dates are hidden - how long was your wait from your last appointment to (1) learn you were moving onto the Surgeon (2) get a date with the Surgeon.

Here, I tried to change it hopefully you can see my whole history now. I started this process over a year ago. Time goes by pretty fast when you don't think about it.

The clinic schedules small groups of 5 or 6 people at a time for the surgeon appt. A nurse will come to the waiting room and call all of you at once. You go get weighed individually and she charts your weight. Then she will put each of you in separate rooms for your appointments.
You will see the nurse, followed by the surgeon and then the nurse again to schedule your date and order the optifast as per the doctors orders. If I recall correctly I think the nurse gets your PATTS appt set up as well but I may be mistaken.
Then you start the most exhilarating changes of your life! Hang on for the ride. :)
