Hello people! I'm 3 weeks post op and going out to a roadhouse for dinner. What would you recommend I eat? They don't have a website and I've never been there before but have been told they have pretty much everything....what I wouldn't kill for a salad lol But I know that's not an option. Any ideas?

You could get a burger, hold the bun. They might also have a meatloaf option or some kind of Shephard's Pie. When in doubt, there's always chili or soup. Good luck!

3 weeks... I'd probably go chili or a hearty soup... Cause the last thing you want is to feel like crap when you're out with others.

Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

most definatly, never, ever try a new food out in public, it could ruin your evening in so many different ways and bathrooms aren't ALWAYS in close proximity~!!

the best thing would be to have your dinner prior to going out and then order or share something light.

prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.

life is AMAZING when you continue on the right path~!.  Use your surgeons gift to the fullest~!

soup. I also got in the habit of carrying a blender bottle and some vanilla protein powder so I can mix it up with some water and drink my meal if there's nothing on the menu that I can have.
