I had a great moment yesterday. My family and I were at the fitness centre we joined last week, after my time on the cardio machines I picked up my little girl from the general play area because she wanted to run on the track. As I walked she ran the track at full speed. At one time she was a fair bit ahead of me, pig tails swinging as she ran the track with open joy and as I watched her I started to get teary-eyed. THIS is why I started the process, this is why everything up to now has been worth it and why I will never complain about my vitamins, not eating junk or having to watch what I drink. That moment of perfect joy watching my little girl run and knowing that she will grow up with parents that work hard to set healthy examples when it comes to eating and keeping active so that we can look forward to many more moments like this.
