Just drinking my last Opti of day one. They are not great but doing my best to get them in. Four a day seems like a lot, wi**** was only three.  It's going to be a long two weeks. Gulp of Opti, gulp of water.  That's the only way for me to get them down.  I'm going to be up all night peeing with all the fluids I've taken in today :)

Hang in there Sylvie, you are really on your way now, hopefully each day will be a little bit easier for you.

I saw Dr Glazer today and he is sending me for a Stress Test and blood work.  I go on Friday this should be

interesting.  I understand it can take quite a while.

Hang in there.  In a couple more days this will be routine and you will see how simple the menu option is in your day to day life.  Keep your eye on the goal

Good for you for figuring out a way to get it down.  Yes 4 a day may seem like a lot, but it gives you the nutrition that you need, and you certainly would not want to be deficient going into surgery.  Here is to another day done.

Good job my dear !!!! I only took in 3 a day sometimes 2, its not the right thing to do but some days I just could not. I also did take in lots of water broth and my 2 cups of veggies. Its not easy but the big picture is the reason, keep ur eye on the prize !!!

Depending on your bariatric centre, you may be allowed some salad veggies.. I'm just finishing week one of three on optifast and I am also allowed 2 cups of veggies... lettuce, cuke, celery, broccoli and grn pepper. The nurse suggested the Walmart salad dressing that had 10 cals for one tablespoon.. taste ok and gives me something to chew.

For the Opti alone, i flavor it with a couple of squirts of sugar free, zero cal syrup.  Tastes fine.

Hang in there and if i can help, feel free to email.
