One year appointment?
I have not had my surgery, but when I went for my first set of blood tests they told me that fasting is required...now I am not sure how long they require you fast for...I am sure some of vets on here can answer that, or call the clinic? Hope this helps :)

Does it not show it on your bloodwork requisition. There is usually a box that is checked or not to indicate if you need to fast.

just curious - does the ottawa clinic perform your bloodwork there as part of your yearly visit? Doesn't your family doctor give you the lab requisition?
you should fast at least 12 hours before.
in guelph, we go to our family phys. to get the req for bloodwork and a copy of the results goes to the clinic and the ladies there go over the results.
Did not take any chances and fasted for the test! My resolts were fantastic My cholesterol is to compare to a Athleths! I have 90% of my exceess wait lose acheve. So hope I get the next 10% off in the next year and then somme! Thank for your help and support everyone!
