For 3 months I have struggled trying to have a BM last week was the worse I would have gone through having another baby without any meds instead of the pain I endured trying to go. I also have crohns so I get worried when I don't go and have such bad pain.

Well thanks to my daughter she told me her dietician suggested she eat 3 prunes a night and it worked for her and yes prunes have some carbs but good carbs so I thought what the heck I will try and guess what we have success I have been going regular with no assistance of any kind except the 3 prunes I eat every night. Keeping my fingers crossed they keep working.

So anyone who has some issues try prunes and see if they work for you.

I had limited success with them but take what helps. I have struggled with this as well and currently made a batch of granola with a lot of bran in it which seems to be working.

You could get pureed prunes in the baby food section or prune juice.

I too eat prunes every night to keep the daytime running smoothly.  Congrats on figuring out what works for you.
