Not losing much 1 month out

Hey everyone,

So I feel like I am not losing like others. I know everyone is different but I have only lost 30lb since the begining of opti April 15th. I went from 236-226 on opti, had surgery on the April 29th and have only gotten down to 206 as of today.

Has anyone else had a slow loss? Any suggestions?

You do realize that 20 lbs in one month or 5 lbs a week?  I think you are doing great.  Stick with the program and don't worry about the scale....you can be certain that if you follow the program the lbs will come off.

Relax and enjoy the ride.

Sounds like your on track. Try not to focus on what others have lost. In my case, yes it seems I have lost a lot. But if you really look at it, I lost 11lbs before I started opti, I was on opti for three weeks and lost 20 to top if off I was over 90 lbs heavier than you were, so, its not fair I understand, people as large as I am tend to loose larger amounts out the gate, but from what I have read and seen here, we all come to a slower more regular pace of weight loss once we near the 200 mark.

Chin up, I honestly think your doing great!

I feel like I'm a slow loser too! As of last Wednesday I have only lost 24lbs since opti. I put my scale away and have stopped weighing daily. I am going by how I feel and how my clothes fit. Otherwise, its WAY to frustrating.
Hang in there!

I went through a stall of 3 weeks in my 2nd month after surgery (I'm now about 11 weeks out). It was so frustrating! After such rapid weight loss in the first month. Now it's a trickle of about 2lbs a week. I track my weight weekly but have yet to be able to not weigh myself every morning; working on that. I am having difficulty getting my protein in; find the more I have (& the more water) the more I lose.
