Hi all,
I had my surgery May 2nd, and I am planning a trip to Cuba, leaving July 26th. Has anyone been on a trip 2 and a half months after surgery and have had any problems getting travel insurance?

I travel a lot and have travel insurance - but.... it does exclude any "preexisting conditions". So anything that is related to your surgery will not be covered.

Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

Actually Joanne I sell travel insurance and if you are under 59 you need a 7 day stability period-if there are no problems 7 days prior to leaving you are covered for everything.  I went to Mexico 4 weeks after surgery and had no issues.  You can send me a private message and I will give you a quote.  It is quite cheap-$35 tops I would say.
