Hello from the bench!

Hi Everyone. Had my surgery on Wednesday. Everything has been pretty easy. Little pain that extra strength Tylenol helps. I was prescribed percosets but don't need them. They released me from guelph hospital yesterday after supper. I had a 3 hour ride home. That pooped me out. I have been getting coughing attacks. It's like a tickle that won't go away. So that causes a little pain in my belly. But mostly I am doing alright. I am just hoping things stay easy. Fingers crossed!

Welcome to the bench! I had that tickle and coughing too from being intubated I believe. I ended up sending my husband out for sugar free halls my first night home. Take it easy and walk around as much as possible!

I will def try the halls. It was so painful for my belly to cough like I did. There was no easy way to do it!
Gas is minor. I was worried about 1st BM but I took a stool softener this morning and ended up going just fine. I even came out and told my husband because I was so relieved! Lol
The nurses I had were fabulous. Jenn and Mae were my favourites.
