Everyone must be starting late today. I am off do do errands this morning then finishing salads to take to a party today. I will not be on tomorrow morning. I am staying over in Kitchener tonight. What I have listed as food may change as the day progresses

bgreek yogurt, granola

l chicken with mayo, melba toast

s. shrimp

d baby back ribs with salad

s protein bar and wine

cal 1111, carb 38, fat 56, protein 75

RNY, 8.5 months post op

Good morning!  I am a bit later to post today, as I went for a run first thing this morning before it gets too hot.  I ran for 50 mins straight today - so excited that I was able to do that!  Only a couple of weeks now before my 8K race.

I was also really pleased to see that I was 1 pound below my goal this morning - 164 pounds!  I weighed myself after  my run so there may be some water loss to account for in there, but I'm counting it!  I'll do a full post with updated pictures sometime over the weekend when I have some time.  I think I'll aim to lose about 5 more pounds to account for potential bounceback, but I'm in no rush.  Also need to figure out maintenance, which from what I've read here can be tricky - don't want to lose much more, but also don't want to gain back!  So it'll be some trial and error trying to figure out the right balance.

Here's my eating plan for today:
B - 1 slice P28 bread, 1 tbsp peanut butter

S - 1 Premier Protein shake with peach SF syrup (blended to a milkshake with lots of ice)

L - 100g back bacon, 1 cup spinach salad (with cucumbers, tomatoes, 1 tbsp. hemp hearts, 1 tbsp. balsalmic vinagrette).

S - Pure Protein bar

D - 100 g steak, 5 spears asparagus, 1 SF pudding cup for dessert

S - SF Jello Cup

Totals - 1,171 calories, 65g carbs, 55g fat, 111g protein

Morning! I am working all day today and not sure what's happening tonight.  Hang out at home or maybe a movie. I have worked alot in the past week so I am kinda pooped.

Lots of NSV's happening. Lots of positive comments from hubby and friends. A shopping trip with my sis with new bras and bathing suits!

My boobs have gotten alot smaller which is great. They are still bigger than the average by far!  Now that they are deflated and hanging so low I am getting a little rashy under my breast. I am powdering regularly but its not clearing up. Suggestions anyone for a topical cream or ideas?

Congrats Julia on reaching your goal and beyond! You are my hero! If you get a chance, when did you start eating salads, raw veg and fruit?

 

 Menu for today:

B: Protein coffee

S. Berries, cottage cheese, go lean cereal

L: turkey and bean chili, melba toast

S: hard boiled egg

D: chicken, veg

S: nsa pudding

MFP Cal 888 carbs 67 fat 26 protein 115

Thanks, Gina!  It was around 3 months that I started eating raw veggies and salads on a consistent basis.  I experimented with soft foods sooner than that - probably around 2 1/2 months out.

Good Morning, i am feeling better today.. I wasnt drinking enough yesterday and got a little dehydrated , it sure doesnt take long to get behind..And then start feeling like crap very quickly.. I stayed up later last night to drink up and some..Back to normal..

700 AM Breakfast 1/3 cup protein shake

1/3 cup cream wheat with splenda ,skim milk powder

sipping all morning....SO VERY IMPORTANT.....

Lunch-1/3 cup protein shake

SF greek yogurt ad skim milk powder

sip sip lol

Dinner- 1/3 cup protein shake,Cream celery soup LF

Snack- maybe some cottage cheese

I will try and get out today and get my unflav protein powder. And  i think i am going to by some of the juice protein drinks from shoppers for a bit of a change.. will get all my vit and my meds as well..
