Angel List

When I agreed to take this on I was given a list of people who had agreed to be angels. I found many had left the board and in some cases closed their accounts. I posted twice and received replies from a few people so added them.

I have had one person not like their angel.  In another case someone agreed to an angel and then got their own without letting the original angel know.

I have decided I will not continue doing this. In fact perhaps since people are finding their own the list is no longer needed. If someone would like to do it great otherwise I will let OH know they can take the link off.

I agree. It is maybe best if people start to contact their local support group. 

Totally understand, Pat. I was actually contacted directly about being someone's angel, which was fine with me. I think that if it's just going to be a pain for those running it, maybe we should just be responsible for doing our own thing. We're all busy, and I don't think it's fair to expect someone to put out all that time/energy if it's not necessary.

Do you think when you send OH a message re removing the sticky link for angels - you would do the same for the surgery list?.....it is not being monitored and I feel for the people who post on it and then nothing occurs

I have access to the surgery list. I will try to up-date that. I have added some in the past but thought Shelley would take care of it.
