5 Weeks post op update ( long )
I went shopping today because i have NO long pants,i tried on a size 18 jeans and they fit, they were on sale for 75% off $10...I couldnt fit into a size 22 before surgey. What a great feeling. I am down 45 lbs since opti..I am 5 weeks post op. I also bought a new fall jacket 50% off size 16.. I have been in a stall right now for the last 10 days , so i am switching up my routine. I go on my elliptical before work in morning and after dinner, not over doing it though because i am still healing.. I am trying to up my protein and water as well, so that should help move things along. I have had no issues with anything so far, knock on wood. I follow the guide lines. I dont have head hunger or crave anything. I make meals for my family and it does not bother me at all. I thought for sure it would but it doesnt. I think i am so focused on my health and happiness for the first time in my life that i will not allow myself to fail...... I was given this wonderful TOOL to help me have a healthier body and i intend to use it the best i can. I always remember that this tool will only work if I make the right choices , its not a magic pill , it doesnt cure emotional eating, or fix under lying issues...Its a long road ahead but i am ready for the ups the downs and everything in between. And i hope and pray years down the road i am posting as a vet and helping others through this journey.....Have a good night everyone...Krista..
