What are you eating/doing today (Friday)?
It doesn't look like anyone has started this yet, so better late than never!
I went to the new Toronto Outlet Mall with my Mom this morning, so that's why I'm late to post. It is so surreal to be able to shop in any store I want to, and to be trying on size 6's and even some 4's! I spent some money on clothes for my new job that starts Monday, then we had a nice lunch at a Thai place in town.
No formal exercise for me today - I have my 10K race first thing tomorrow morning, so am taking a full break day!
Here's my eating plan for the day:
B - 1 premier protein shake with berries and ice, 2 eggs scrambled with 1 tbsp. ketchup.
S - 1 premier protein bar at the outlet mall
L - Cashew nut chicken at the Thai restaurant
S - 1/2 cup cottage cheese with cinnamon and splenda
D - 6 oz meatloaf, some peppers/onions grilled up, jello pudding SF
S - Quest PB cup, sugar free jello
Totals - 1,824 calories, 112g carbs, 81g fat, 162g protein
Have a great rest of the day!

Hi Julia, wish you all the best on your 10K race tomorrow. Wow, I hope eventually just to be able to walk better without pain in my knees. Thanks for all the great suggestions of what to eat, this is really helpful especially now because my surgery will be Sept. 5th and I'm on day 2 Optifast. Going good today. But, I sure will be looking for your suggestions further down the road.
Hope you do very well tomorrow. xo

Just over 4 weeks now.
We went to the Outlet Mall last night. Meh, Didn't really get excited about anything except the running shoes. Nike had some good prices and I'm sure Adidas did as well. Soon.
Made a great fish packet dinner last nite. Defrosted Basa on top of baby spinach and arugula with a bit of pesto on top and a lemon slice. Wrap up in tinfoil pack and put in BarBq. Everyone got their own flavour profile and it was easy peasy.
B- Greek Source yogurt
S- Premier protein shake
L - hummus 100 cal pack
S - Premier protein shake
D - refried beans, salsa and cheese (gotta use up that can!)
S - protein shake
Good luck tomorrow Julia!!!
3 1/2 weeks post RNY
I hurt myself yesterday, doing too much. Basically, after my 1 month follow up and therapist appt I decided I was doing too much (spinning and cycling) and that I needed to go back to walking and just relax and take care of myself. Then I decided to lift the sandbox over and dump out the festering rainwater with my partner but on the 3 count I lifted and she didn't. I strained my ab muscles, feels like surgery pain but improving and not internal hernia pain or rupture. I'm so mad at myself - lesson learned.

S - 1/2 c milk/1/4 c bran buds
2 litres of H20 and all meds/vitamins
