I'm Home - On The Bench - Had a bit of a rough ride!
Hi everyone, well I'm finally home after a 5 day stay in HRRH and 2 surgeries later. Yes, I had a stricture and Dr. Hagen had me back in surgery by next morning first thing. He is such a good doctor and no fooling around he was right on top of everything.
All nurses are not created equal but I have to give a special shout out to Nurse Cheryl she was absolutely brilliant and had the best bed side manner.
This surgery I had to have drains put in for 3 days, which was fine no problem. The Heprin shots are no problem either, so fast.
So I'm on full fluids following everything I need to do and feeling so happy to be home and posting this to all of you. We get through this and we come out on the other side with a new outlook and determination. I know I will do this through whatever comes my way.
I am really proud of myself.
