I can't say enough about the wonderful and courteous staff at the Civic. I'm two weeks pre-op and so far, I'm delighted with everyone I've met! My surgeon is Dr Neville and she is so kind and I've dealt a lot with Aspen and she's been amazing too. Today I went to my preop registration and appointment and not only was it super fast (in at 8 and out by 10: 30. I pre-registered for my room; saw a nurse, anaesthesiologist, had bloods drawn, spoke to a pharmacist, and had an ecg. WOW! I give it 5 stars! In fact, one day I'd like to work there!

Surgery date is Oct. 17th, 2013 in Ottawa. I was referred to the clinic in September 2012. The person performing my surgery is Dr Amy Neville.

This is great news to hear as I have to go to the hospital on Nov 7. I am out of the Kingston Bariatric unit.

I have also found them to always be kind, courteous and efficient. I told the front desk person so when I was there on Tuesday!

Everyone was so nice & friendly :)

Referral to Ottawa: Jan/11 Info Session: May/11 Nurse: Feb/12 Dietician/Behavourist/Abdominal Scan: Apr/12 Pre-op Education Class: Feb. 6/13 Meet Surgeon Feb.15/13 Surgery with Dr. Raiche March 12/13!!

The post-op care, after the surgery is awesome too!! I thought my nurses were great and helpful. I found everyone to be friendly and helpful!!

Wait till your aftercare. The nurses are AWESOME. If you are lucky you will have Yvette, Anneke and Cynthia.

I'm out of Kingston as well. Had Dr Yelle, very nice man. My surgery was scheduled for 430, arrival for 11am. My surgery was complete and I was recovering at by 415pm. They are organized and on the ball.
Such a nice place. Highly recommend using the hot blankets on belly to help gas. I called the manager to compliment Val (nurse) and Molly ( nurses aide)
