Revision Surgery??
I had Gastric Bypass surgery done 25 years ago I lost some weight but gained it back plus more. I am now 50 years old and and have Iron Deficiency I am Anemic and recently found out I have a Hiatal Hernia and Gastric Polyps. I have an appointment in Toronto next month to see a Specialist to do Revision Weight Loss Surgery I am wondering if anyone out here has had this surgery done. As I have gotten older I am more scared and unsure if this is the right thing to do any advice or personal stories would be appreciated.

Hi, i had a VBG done in the 90s and had a revision to a RNY this past June. All went well ,Dr Hagan was my surgeon out of HRRH...They will check out whats going on from the last surgery and go from there. Good luck and message me if you woulg like to...Krista..

I'm another Revision surgery - mine was November 13th. I have admittedly had a longer recovery than I expected to, but I have not regretted it FOR A SECOND. It's the best thing I've ever done, no question. :)
