So my doctor faxed my referral this morning. He had done a full blood work before submitting the referral form. I noticed question no. 21  - "does the patient have dyslipidemia that is ot adequately controlled with medical therapy?" he marked YES. Do you know if this would effect negative on the process? Not sure what Dyslipidemia is in detail ?

In short, it's basically high cholesterol.  It's a good reason for surgery :)

Hiya,

This diagnosis will require medication and monitoring to see that it is stable prior to surgery.  All medical issues must be stable before surgery is scheduled.
