RNY  5 Years 6 Months Post Op

Morning

Up way too early, however I hate just lying there in bed waiting for the "right" time to wake.  Retail therapy for me today.  Haven't shopped in so long and I am looking forward to some new golf tops.

STEPS - 8900

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of regular coffee

    Premier protein shake

 

L - Goodfoods cranberry almond chicken salad- 4 oz

     Cheese string

      Crunch pak of apple slices with seedless grapes

 

D - 6 oz chicken stuffed with 1 oz of cheddar and asparagus

    1.5 cups of kale salad

 

S - Light and Fit Greek yogurt

     Fresh blueberries and raspberries - 1/2 cup

     1 TB of Granola

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,077,  Carbs - 76 Grams,  Fat - 39 Grams,  Protein - 116 Grams

 

All water and vits plus more decaf coffee

Barb, enjoy your "retail therapy" today 

Dr  appt this morning (8am), then the gym  and off to work. Nothing else planned.

B- protein coffee, 1/2 c ff cottage cheese, 3 sm pineapple chunks

S- quest bar, spinache smoothie (after workout)

L- 1 c homemade turkey veg soup, 4 crackers

D- 3 oz chicken, 3/4 c sweet kale salad

S- tea, 4 oz skim milk

Good morning   

4+yrs post-op, maintaining

 

Heyy everyone!! How is everyone doing?

I have been SUPER busy! My business is going really well  I am going to look at another house to clean in a little bit. The golf course is winding down (I clean there too) and I want to keep busy for the winter but still only take on enough that I can handle it all in the summer months.

I will be purging ALOT of things in the next bit... time to clean out the closets and junk!! Dentist appt later today too 

 

So far just coffee this morning.

When I get home I will have breakie

B- 1/2 croissant sandwich, with egg and cheese and maybe bacon

L- cream of chicken soup

D- chicken with veggies

snacks- fibre1 lemon square, yoguart and not sure what else

 

Getting in all my vitamins and liquids

Morning all,

Barb, could you please give me an occasional weather report? I'm living vicariously. ;)

Grocery shopping at the newly renovated Loblaws (believe it or not, this is a thrill - what a gorgeous store!), a couple of errands to run, math tutoring for my little neighbour next store, meeting friends for coffee later since we didn't make it yesterday. No retail therapy for me, unfortunately - a new car and Coach boots have put me at my limit! lol

8.5 years post-op (long-term maintenance)

- coffee with cream x 4 over the day -

B - Source Greek 50 with a little granola

S - Premier protein shake (realized there weren't any in the fridge for breakfast - oops)

L - 1/2 lobster/avocado wrap, a little salad (leftovers from my lunch out yesterday)

S - Chike protein iced coffee

D - 3 oz roasted chicken, 1/4 baked acorn squash

S - 2 cheese & crackers, dill pickle, maybe a Bengal Spice fog later

I completely understand how exciting a renovated or new grocery store is!!  We are spoiled in Ontario re our stores....so much produce to choose from and other healthy items.

Weather is cloudy today...I will just leave it at that so I don't create weather envy

Just keep looking at your Coach boots...that will keep your mind off retail therapy :-)

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
