If he was waiting for the surgery for two years why did he eat chicken wings 2 weeks before surgery??? Poor kid.  :(

I watched it last year.  Was shocked to see what the young man was eating.  I wondered how any parent could stand by and watch and not say anything.   In the case of the young lady was glad she could get the surgery.   Would love to see a follow up to this story to see where they are now.

Yeah I watched this last year when it was on.  That boy, I felt like he was not really committed to the process at all.  Plus he did not have a good support system especially when his own mother suggested he eat solid foods just 3 weeks after surgery!! 

The girl was so committed to the process and she had great results, he did have results but not as good as he could have if he had have followed the pre-op diet and post op diet.
