Surgery Date at Last

I had my 'Meet the Surgeon' appointment this morning which ended up going till well in the afternoon. Dr. Aarts will be doing the operation, and she seems to be as nice as some of you have mentioned on this forum.

The date for the surgery will be May 5th. I was a little disappointed that it was so far away at first,, but now I am fine with the date. It is a few days shy of 6 months since my orientation, and that is almost on the fast track compared to what others here have had to endure. I am considering it as a good time to prepare for the reboot.

It is nice to have some certainty in the process and a firm day to look forward to.

Good luck to you.  I agree with you that at first it seemed like a long time but it also gave me the time to prepare.  My surgery date is April 6th at St. Mikes.

Keith this is great news. I had Dr. Aarts do my surgery (surgeries) Feb 4 and 6 (had a complication) and she was AWESOME.
