I just got on the bench myself...so I am dusting off some room right beside me!  CONGRATS girl WE DID IT!!!! Keep walking and sipping water and eating ice chips.  A cup of plain old ho****er made me burp like crazy.  My nurses were amazing and I am having no real struggles releasing the gas or having any BM's :)  Look forward to watching your progress!!

Hi Girls

I just had my surgery tuesday april 28th and I am new to the bench I had my gastric bypass surgery at Toronto western they were great.

I got home yesterday and trying to do the walking and water I only had one premier shake yesterday and water I was just not able to get anything else down this morning I had tea with one scoop of unflavoured unjury protein powder. Are we allowed ice chips at the hospital they said no straws and ice chips it causes gas? I would love to keep in touch so we can be there for each other looking forward to getting over this hump.

Best Regards

Lisa
