LONG overdue Update On Me
Hey everyone! I'm sorry I haven't been around/posting - I've been SUPER busy in the last year (and believe me, I know you'll all understand this!), but I miss this community, and it's time I'm back around a little more often.
I had my RnY on November 14th, 2013. My starting weight was 351lbs (highest weight). My current weight (as of this morning) is 187.1lbs. That's 165lbs gone. :) It's sort of like a dream to me, quite frankly. :) I'm not sure how to upload a picture right into a post, so you can see my before/after here: http://www.obesityhelp.com/photos/album/186648/886373
How has life changed? In so many ways I can barely tell you. I used to wear a size 28/30. Now I wear a 12/14. I run. I feel energetic. I'm on the go more than I have been in years. I feel PRETTY. (I'm not suggesting that weight loss = pretty, don't get me wrong. I'm saying that now I FEEL pretty. :) )
I'm stalking the board to see who is almost at their surgery date - GOOD FOR YOU!! I can't wait to read others' stories. :)
