So happy to be home, not in much pain, a lot of nausea which the doctors and nurses kept saying it was normal. Apparently the Sleeve causes more nausea than the RNY. I am so happy I did this, I am so proud of myself!!! I am doing amazing, walking lots, sipping a lot of water, going to the bathroom and releasing gas, so much different then when I had my Gallbladder removed. Im a little out of it, from the meds, so I better finish this post before I say something that I have already said, lol.

Welcome to the bench, Jos - sip always, walk when you can, rest when you need to!

I'm assuming they sent you home with a PPI (acid reducer)? Often acid can cause nausea, so make sure you're taking it. Also make sure you're drinking water - dehydration can cause nausea as well.

Happy healing :)
