Hi everyone! 10 months ago + a day I had RNY at TWH. All is well. Iron is low but I'm working on getting it up. Everything else is pretty awesome.

HW 328

SW 293

CW 195

Continue to lose 1-3 lbs a week. No stalls yet. 35lbs away from my goal of 160. Should get there by November ish.

My advice to the newbies. Don't take it to seriously. stick with your plan and stay happy. It's gotten me this far :)

Hello,

I'm new to the site and just registered.  I had my orientation yesterday and have been scheduled for my next two appointments with the social worker then the nurse practitioner for my initial assessment in September and October through Toronto Western Hospital.  My question concerns the short forms that everyone uses:  HW, SW and CW.  I assume CW is current weight, and HW is highest weight?  Unsure of SW.

This information really helps someone like me to keep realistic, hopeful and committed.  Many thanks.  Already happy and encouraged to be on the journey.

Orientation: June 29th, 2016, Surgery March 22, 2017. Pre-surgery: 16 lbs, (Size 2x, 18/20), M1: 19 lbs. (Size 1x, 16/18), M2: 13 lbs. (Size 16, XL) M3: 10 lbs. (Size 14/16, large). M4: 6 lbs. (Size 14, large/medium). M5: 10 lbs. (Size 14, solid medium - lol), M6: 9 lbs. (Size 12, medium). M7: 8 lbs. (Size 10/12 and small/medium). M8: 7 lbs. (Size 10 and small/medium). M9: 2 lbs. (Size 8/10 - small/medium). Lost 100 lbs by Month 9! M10: 5 lbs. M11: 4 lbs. One year: 6 lbs. Total 111 lbs. lost!

I was at the TWH orientation yesterday too! I see the social worker in September and the nurse in October.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think SW is surgery weight.
