3 days and counting

I have 3 days to officially say i have joined the losers bench. My surgery is on Tuesday Oct 3 @ TWH, anyone else for same day as surgery buddy? I a on such a roller coaster, very excited but also very nervous. I won't be sad to be done with OPTI I honestly really did not like it lol but I did like the fact that I dropped 17 lbs which has me at a total loss of 43 lbs since the end of July. I think a lot of the nervous feelings are coming from last week Tuesday my niece had her rny and did very well but had a lot of pain and it was really tough seeing her in such pain. She is doing great now and left and traveled back up North already which is over a 4 hr drive so she did bounce back quick lol but she is only 30 and I'm 53 lol :-) I am trying to not worry about things I have no control over plus the pain will be for just a short time and small price to pay for a healthier life.

I have gotten a whole lot of support on this forum, I honestly don't think I would have made it through this far without all of you. you are all amazing and I feel very blessed to have you all to turn to. Thank you

Three days! you must be so excited. i am excited for you.

I remember being on Opti for my just plain Weight loss doctor. before we began to look at Weight loss surgery as an option. i was supposed to be on it indefinitely. i didn't make it past a month and a half.

you can imagine how little i look forward to going on it again. but we do what we must don't we.

you are going to be amazing. i look forward to hearing all about your surgery and your new journey in life

You'll do great.  Remember to walk, sip, rest, toot, walk, sip rest, toot, repeat.  Take earplugs to the hospital and maybe a sleep mask so you can catch some rest.
