Yoghurt...and other food

Happy Monday!

I'm wondering what you guys do for yoghurt? I was buying Source Greek which has 0 fat, 8g of protein and half the sugar (so about 4g of carbs) and now I can't find it ANYWHERE. Otherwise, I'm stuck. All the high protein Greek yoghurt have lots of sugar/carbs (except plain which tastes like sour cream to me) and all the low fat/low sugar have little protein. Any tips?

Also, I'm looked for the Green Giant veggie tots without success, Whisps or some kind of baked cheese crisps and sugar free syrup. I guess it's what I get for trolling the US support groups. LOL

I always buy the plain greek yogurts and add my own flavourings to it. I like to use pureed fruit that I sweetened myself with sugar substitutes. I made up about a cup of fruit and then add a tbsp or two to my plain yogurt. Source stopped carrying many of the good flavours and then they started using stevia in them and I hate stevia so started just making my own fruit puree to add to it. The SF syrups are easy too especially if you like vanilla yogurt. I sweeten it with the SF vanilla for my hubby as that is his favourite flavour.

i buy SKYR yogurt from no frills or loblaws, its really good or i buy the PC Greek with shredded coconut. I also really enjoy smooth cottage cheese in the salted caramel flavour...

as for the veggie tots, that an american thing. the baked cheese crisps, most people make them and the sugar free syrup, i bought mine at no frills next to the table syrup

Thanks for the tip about sugar free syrups at No Frills! I've been looking everywhere, and our Winners doesn't carry them.

I have had a lot of luck with the sugar free syrups at Winners.

I can't stand yoghurt so I only use it for cooking. The Skyr unflavoured makes a good base for an alfredo type sauce when I do Zoodles.

I buy the PC Greek Yogurt and PC Skyr Icelandic yogurt; both plain, both super high in protein and low in sugars and fat. I add a bit of cinnamon and splenda. I had to do full liquids for an extra 2 weeks and am very sick of yogurt, but still plan to use it in my purees.

The only place I can find it is Walmart. And they changed the packaging so you may not recognize it. If I can't find it, I have been buying the PC Skyr Icelandic yogurt at No Frills.
