Hey all,

Wondering if anyone can provide me with some specific info. I know at the one month check in (group session) they showed us some slides about exercise really quickly. BUT I can't remember what is ok when.

6 weeks out now, really want to start a routine that involves more than walking. Weights & Cardio. Hopefully swimming.

Help me with the guidelines - I called the center last week but nobody has called me back yet. Next appointment isn't until Dec.

Thanks!

I was allowed to start swimming as soon as my incisions healed, but my family doctor had to see them first and then he approved me.

I was told I could do what I want as soon as the surgeon cleared me. I've been sticking to walking but am just starting to branch out into other workouts (swimming, yoga, etc.).

Hmmm - I haven't seen my surgeon since before my surgery. For the five minutes before I went in. Was the first and last time I've met him.

The nurse was super rushed with the checkup - she did my vitals and looked at my incisions. Then we did the group nutrition.

Funny how different every program is...
