Hi all,

well im one week + 4 days post op. I can now get out of bed or off the couch without having to get my hubby to help me. I no longer wince in pain when I move. Been to see the NP and all is well. She's now added vitamin B to my repertoire of vitamines. Also went to see my GP and now she is looking into WLS for herself. I'm off work for another 6 weeks so that I can get accustomed to the new eating habits.

Trying not to step on the scale, I don't want to jinx anything so far. Been cleared to use the treadmill at a zero incline and slow speed. So off I go. Maybe I can do 10 minutes this time.

Can hardly wait for soft foods next week!

It sounds like things are going well for you. Keep on keeping on.

The best thing you can do is listen to your body. If you get tired, rest. It doesn't matter what others are doing or how fast they are progressing. Each journey is individual and you will lose more than you imagine!!

Also, you won't jinx your weight loss by getting on the scale. :) You got this.

Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. Choose happy.
