Exparel and LowerBody Lift

Thank you to everyone that responded to my questions. I am so greatful. My body lift went very well. I was in surgery for 4 hours. I ended up with an Anchor cut. My butt looks ridiculous lol but my hope is, that's from extreme swelling! I feel like the stay puff marshmallow man lol.  I'll tell you this! Exparel works!!! The pain was no where near my sleeve pain at all. I'm four days out right now. While the pain wasn't initially as bad...this pain seems to be taking longer. More like what I went through with my csections. I'm down to taking Tylenol. :) doing very well...just so so swollen!

Congratulations on surviving and being (relatively) pain-free!  Yes, the swelling will be a ***** for awhile.  Just be very kind to yourself and take it easy.

Glad you're feeling well! I use ice packs when the swelling is uncomfortable which my surgeon allows. It seems to help. Take care of yourself and keep us posted on your recovery.

Congrats!!! You will be feeling back to your old self in no time....Just relax and take things slow...I am 2 months out tomorrow and I feel great...

How awesome that you are doing well! I'm day 4 post op from second tummy tuck and full circumfrential lift! I FEEL ya on marshmallow man!!! And the drains ugh!!! I had Exparel!! Seriously it's like an epidural for child birth lol! Best medicine ever! And I've experienced a tummy tuck (with breast lift/aug) without it!

And yes my butt looks horrible too!!! My dr assured me all would smooth out and be flat once swelling goes away. Just hard to look at it!
