A little over 8 months post op and pregnant

Hello Im new and I was wondering if anyone else got pregnant before dr gave the OK.  I had RNY Sept. 12, 2011.  I just found out that I am pregnant.  I have my first appointment on June 1.   Hubby and I are excited, this will be our second baby, we have a beautiful 3 year old daughter. 

I got pregnant 3 months post op. So far, everything is great. I have lost 26 lbs since getting pregnant and all my labs have come back great. We just found out we're having a boy and get our anatomy scan next Tuesday.

You sound much like me. I had my RNY 10/18/11 and found out 3/26/12 that DH and I are expecting baby #2. We also have a beautiful 3yo daughter. My surgeon was/is concerned that I got pregnant at only 5 months post-op, but he's supportive and is a member of my care team along with my OB. Good luck and blessing for a happy, healthy pregnancy :)

I dont know about you but I stopped loosing weight at 6 mo post op & really never lost anymore, now 18 mo post op.... As long as you are not loosing a considerable amount of weight now, you should be fine....
