Don't waste your time with the ROSE.  I haven't heard of one person having any long term success with it.  They usually lose about 20 lbs immediately afterwards due to the pre and post op diet but as soon as they start eating regular food the weight comes back.
If you have a DS then you have a sleeve and the ROSE is to make the stoma on a RNY pouch smaller.  If you have a sleeve you don't have a stoma, you still have your pyloric valve.  The ROSE would be useless in that case.
I'm not sure I understand your question.  You have a DS now?  Or were you planning on getting a DS and your surgeon is trying to talk you into the ROSE?  If that is the case, run as fast as you can and find a good revision surgeon who can do a revision to the DS.  You would be very disappointed, to say the least, if you have the ROSE.

Who did your revision?  I have a feeling you didn't get a true DS.  You probably still have your pouch and were given an ERNY, which is basically a RNY with more absorption.
The ROSE procedure still won't do you any good.  I think your best bet would be to get a copy of your operative report and contact a reputable DS revision surgeon like Dr. Keshishian or Dr. Rabkin in California.
I have had two WLS and I have decided that if I regain my weight again I will have to live with it.  I can't put my body through any more.  WLS is a tool but if after two attempts I would just have to assume that I am unable to utilize that tool for some reason.

Omg I found notes from 2004 I had ERNy and Rny 1999. I think you said ERNy is easier to fix right?

Anytime you have a pouch to sleeve revision it is very complicated.  Very few surgeons are able to do this.  That is why some surgeons will tell you they can revise you to a DS but in truth they don't want to mess with the pouch so they just make your bypass shorter.  As you can see, it isn't usually effective.
As far as being able to revise it, it depends.  My surgeon did a partial gastroectomy on me.  He removed my remnant stomach so I can never have a revision.  If your remnant stomach is gone you are out of luck but you may be able to have the intestinal configuration.  You need to see an expert on RNY to DS revision.  There are very few.  Among the best are in California, Keshishian and Rabkin.  There is also Gagner in Canada, and a few others.  You will have to ask on the DS board if there is one near you.  If you see any other surgeon you will most likely not get a DS.

It sounds like you never got a DS in the first place.  As everyone said above you might want to speak to a revision specialist and see what they say.  If you got the DS I dont see how its possible for you to have gain all your weight back so easy.

You are correct. She posted on a different post she in fact had a RNY, then ERNY. I came here to see if there have been additional updates, but apparently not.
