i just scheduled my lapband removal, hiatal hernia repair ( insurance will pay for those) and then gastric sleeve ( which they won't pay ) for 8/22/12...
i am very excited.
had had lost 50-60 pounds with the band, ( in fr 2 years) but always throwing up, getting unfilled... they could not fill but tiny amounts or i would back for unfill.. so i was having to be filled every month or so.. more added expense.. then it slowed down... i developed hernia... sign..
should have gotten the sleeve the first itme, but insurance would not pay for it..but i am doing it anyway- figure it will be well worth it.. and for me!! can hardly wait.. good luck with yours.
