I'm back..alive..and in PAIN!!!

Hey y'all! Surgery went well..RNY to DS revision Tuesday Sept 10th Dr. K! I went home on Friday Sept 13th. I've been in a lot of pain, haven't pooped yet, but I'm definitely grateful for every time I pass gas!!! I know I'll feel better soon..so I'm just staying positive! Thank you to everyone thinking about me and sending me well wishes..it feels great to be on the other side!

Oh yea, the NG tube sucked..the feeding tube is not so bad..and the drains came out on Friday!

that is a big surgery,,,you had an awesome surgeon, you will be better in a few days....recover well....

Hi,

I am so happy "things" went well. It is a scary surgery and so many things can go wrong. Take the pain meds and increase your walking if you can. Poop will happen. You may need to take Miralax. I did I took the baby version and it worked wonders.
