Magnesium Question

Just wondering which magnesium to take citrate or oxide?

oxide.  You can get at any pharmacy.  I have seen it at Rite aid, CVS, etc

Thought so, my DH just came home with citrate, so I'll have to return it.

vitalady recommends 1 200 or 250 mg magnesium oxide with lunch and dinner.  Play around with it and figure out what works for you though

RNY people absorb Citrates the best  calcium Magnesium and potassium are supposed to be citrate. If you get constipated use some Magnesium oxide. I thought I was doing right by taking Magnesium oxide until I got a terrible pain in my rt. shoulder that no one knew the answer  to help me or find a cause. I checked the boards and someone else has the same problem and I was cured by changing to Magnesium citrate. Depends on the surgery you had depends on what you can absorb. Good Luck!
