stomach ache ? lactose
I am 6 and 1/2 months out and at goal weight. In the last month I have had a nauseated stomach ache for about an hour after eating yogurt or weigh****chers 100 cal fudge bar. I do not drink milk or mix shakes myself. Get my protein from Pure Protein shakes, think they are soy and not dairy. No diarrhea at all. Can this be lactose intolerance?
Milk gives me bloating and gas. Yogurt and cheese don't bother me. When I make a protein smoothie at home I use unsweetened Almond milk. For an occasional decaf skinny latte at Starbucks I have them use soy milk and do OK with those.
I also like the Pure protein drinks but only use them when I'm out and about. I'd rather make my own protein hot and cold drinks at home.
