Where is it ?

The hunger.   Is it in our pouch or is the remnant stomach somehow triggered to tell us we are hungry.   And if it is the pouch, why doesn't the remnant ever complain of hunger as well since we are no longer feeding it?

I'm almost 4 years out and don't feel hunger at all -- in my pouch or my remnant stomach -- so I have no idea!  When I was on a liquid diet a number of years ago, after about a week, my stomach no longer complained of being hungry, so maybe there is something about not feeding it that eventually makes it give up...?

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

Thanks Lora.  This was a question I never thought to ask the surgeon but have been thinking about lately.   There just may be something to the idea of not feeding the remnant and having it give up...I like that idea.
