Well today I began my journey hopefully to become half the man I am today.  Few questions you veterans could help with:

1.  I had a sleep study in August last year.  No apnea.  Will that be current enough for the surgery?

2.  Is a colonscopy required?  I had one last year in August also.  Clean as a whistle.

3.  Any other test I can expect?

4.  Because I am a disabled vet, I have Medicare and Tricare Prime.  Does anyone have experience with coverage for this procedure from either or both insurers.

I have been spying on this forum for awhile as well as forums for the other types of procedures.  Because of insurance limitatins, I am selecting this precedure over others.  Any regrets, do-overs, buyer remorse?

Thanks.

Since your last test showed no apnea, another study is not lilely.

You will need blood work done and a EKG.

Some insurance companies want upper GI done.
