Are you getting enough protein and are you drinking all the liquids you are supposed to be drinking???

Just a thought ...

Jacbio, try a potassium supplement and also calcium citrate.  Those two things will help tremendously.
Adding low sugar orange juice and a banana here and there would be good too.  I have had this problem on and off for years, at least now I know how to correct it quickly.  Good luck to you, Lisa

Low potassium can cause muscle cramping and can be dangerous.  May be worth calling your doc?

2 nd and 3 rd week post op I had cramping I scared to stretch just incase some muscle started to cram I was getting adequate water and proteins and vitamins but hadn't as yet started taking calcium so once I started taking calcium and also exercising it stopped. If u haven't started calcium then u should start mild exercise even passive exercise should help.

Potassium!

Have your PCP run labs for potassium or just add a potassium supplement.

Ugh, I am going through the same thing right now.  Not acute cramping like a charlie horse but my legs ACHE.  Like ache so much I can't fall asleep at night and they just hurt constantly.  I've been medicating with Tylenol but it only does so much.  I MISS ibuprofin!
