ughhhhh!!!!
It took a couple of weeks before I was comfortable enough to sleep on my side - stomach sleeping followed quickly after. It won't be long, Sunshine! Hang in there! These things don't last forever and things, I promise, do become more normal with some time.
I remember telling my mom that I regretted the surgery for a full month after I had it... now 5 months post op, things are back to normal, I've lost almost 100lbs, I feel great and I can't imagine regretting the surgery! I hope things return to normal quickly for you - I know how uncomfortable it is!

I feel asleep on my back and one day woke up on my stomach. It just happened on its own with no stress from me. I think it took me about 2 weeks or less. That has to be right because my aunt was still in town when it happend and she was only with me for 2 weeks.
Be patient, it will happen. And yes, those body pillows help with side lying.
