Just finally submitted the last requirement for to the bariatric office- they will submit it to insurance( Aetna) hopefully tomorrow-Then I wait!! Prayers and good thoughts are greatly appreciated!! If I get approved my surgery date is October 10^th!  If denied (lets face it- it’s possible) I absolutely, positively do NOT intend on giving up!

Good luck! I submitted to Aetna and Tricare on 8/16/2011 and was approved on 8/26/2011. We picked a surgery date of 10/11/2011, so I will be a day after you!!!!!

I am surprised they gave you a date before knowing you are approved. Seems to be a setup for disappointment. I hope all goes well for you.
