Incisions - How Long To Heal?
Ok, my surgery was 4 weeks ago today. All incisions have healed nicely, just a little question about one incision.
First of all, my incisions were mostly right at my waistline (where my jeans had made a permanent indentation, lol.
One of them that is in that crease area, I discovered last night that what I was thinking was a scab was actually dried blood. It's just a tiny bit on one end, and it's not like way red but a dark pink?
Anyway, wondering if that is normal or if something is wrong? Should I put a bandaid on it or something?
Thanks.

All of mine healed nicely, except for the one by my belly button. That one liked to bleed, because it actually tore. The doctor wanted to keep covering it, but I found if I just rested a day and left it uncovered, it scabbed over nicely and gave me no more issues. Unfortunately, that scar healed into a bump, but hey - for guys scars build character, right?
I did not pick at it, but I did have to remove all my steristrips about two weeks after surgery as they were not even loosening up at all yet. When I removed them, my incisions were moist and took a tiny little bit of skin with them and I did it very gently but those strips were really glued on!
I've cleaned them with alcohol pads and such as well, so hopefully it's just a slower healer because it's right in a fold of blubber! lol (my waistline).
