I'm not Renee but I can say each of us reacts to surgery differently. Some have no problems eating while others have extreme restriction. There is no right or wrong way to feel after surgery, so long as you are following your surgeon's plan.

I am actually 4 weeks, my plan is stage 1 10 to 14 days, liquids them moveinto stage 2 mushys, for a few days to 2 weeks for me it was shorter like maybe 5 days tops, i am currently in stage 3 and as long as i get things to the right consistency i have had no problems. The deli meats i have been able to tolerate well chewed for about a week, The chicken i may have to blend. THe yougurt is a mushy so no problems. May make some mashed potatoes as well. It has been an interesting ride and i am very lucky that most anything seems to be tolerated as long as i chew it well, and eat slow enough.

My boss brought in sticky buns of various types - with raisins, nuts, cream cheese,nice and warm - ACCCKKKK! I love the cream cheese BUT I need to stay away...or that is what I am telling myself. Doesn't anybody bring in fruit anymore for goodness sake?
Anyway, food for the day.
B - 1/2 mushroom omlette w/1 slice rye - 6:30 am
S - the other half of the omlette w/slice of tomato - 9:00 am
L - Greek yogurt w/fruit - 12:00 pm
S - Apple - 2:00 pm
D - Grilled chicken w/salad or veggies - 5:00 pm
S - Maybe a click - 7:00 pm
Lots of water.....

Good morning! Hubby is home for a 4-day weekend. Tomorrow we are going to shop until we drop in Nashville. Or well, we are going to get some Christmas shopping done anyway. haha. Today I have to go grocery shopping.
